Overview
Every time the AI handles a call, you will receive a notification with a summary of what happened, what was ordered or booked, and a link to replay the call recording. Notifications ensure you never miss a call even when you are busy.

Notification methods
SMS notifications send a text message to one or more phone numbers after each AI call.
Setting up SMS:
- Enter a phone number in the SMS notification field
- Click Add to save it
- You can add multiple numbers — all of them receive every notification
What you receive:
- Business name and sub organization
- Caller name and phone number
- Request type (Order, Appointment, Information, etc.)
- Summary of the conversation
- Link to the full call recording
SMS is the primary notification method. Add at least one number during initial setup.
The Order Monitor is a companion web app that displays incoming orders and call records in real time — similar to a kitchen display screen.
How to access:
- On the Notifications page, find the Order Monitor section
- Click the link to open the Order Monitor in a new browser tab
- Enter the access code shown on the Notifications page
The Order Monitor:
- Shows new orders and calls as they come in
- Displays the summary, items, and caller info
- Plays an alert sound for new entries
- Can be left open on a tablet or dedicated screen in your business
Platforms: Works on iOS, Android, and desktop. Open it in any browser, or download the app at ai.i118.com/downloads.
Access code rotation:
The Order Monitor uses an access code (not your account password) to authenticate. This code:
- Is shown on the Notifications page
- Can be shared with staff who need to view orders
- Can be regenerated at any time by clicking Regenerate Code
Regenerating the code immediately logs out all currently connected Order Monitor sessions. Anyone using the Order Monitor will need the new code to reconnect.
Receipt printer
The receipt printer feature is built into the Order Monitor app — when a new order arrives, the app can automatically send it to a connected receipt printer, printing a kitchen ticket with the caller name, phone number, items ordered, and any special instructions.
A receipt printer is optional — the Order Monitor is fully functional without one. If you have a compatible printer, connect it to the same network as your Order Monitor device. Once detected, the receipt printer option appears on the Notifications page.
Notification content reference
Each notification (SMS or Order Monitor) includes:

| Caller Name | Name the caller provided during the conversation |
| Caller Phone | Phone number of the caller |
| Request Type | Order, Appointment, Reservation, Information, Voicemail, etc. |

| Items | Ordered items with quantities and modifiers (if applicable) |
| Appointment Time | Booked date and time (if applicable) |
| Recording Link | Direct link to replay the full call audio |
Troubleshooting notifications
- Verify the phone number is correct on the Notifications page
- Check that SMS is not blocked by your carrier — some carriers filter automated texts
- Confirm your subscription is active on Billing and Subscription
- Try adding a different phone number to isolate the issue
- Confirm the access code entered matches what is shown on the Notifications page
- Make sure the browser tab is active and connected to the internet
- Try refreshing the page and re-entering the code
- Verify that calls are actually coming in — check Orders for recent records
Notifications are sent within seconds of the call ending. If there is a delay:
- SMS delivery depends on your carrier — delays of 30 seconds to a few minutes are possible during high carrier traffic
- Order Monitor updates in real time — if it is delayed, check your internet connection
- Email delivery depends on your email provider — check your spam or junk folder if notifications do not appear in your inbox
- Verify your POS integration is connected and active on the POS Integrations page
- Check that the printer is powered on and connected to the same network
- Print a test page from the printer itself to confirm it is working
- Restart the printer and your POS device, then place a test call
